Jobseekers can use the Labour Management System to post résumés, search vacancies and communicate with prospective employers.
People seeking employment in the British Virgin Islands can access job opportunities through the Government’s Labour Management System at lms.gov.vg.
According to the platform’s official guidance, jobseekers can create a profile, post their résumé through the Workforce Development System, browse vacancies and apply for suitable positions.
Getting started
To register, select Register on the LMS website, accept the Terms of Use and complete the requested profile information. Once the profile has been saved successfully, users can log in with their credentials.
After registering, jobseekers should post their résumé and explore the available vacancies. The system allows users to browse all listed jobs or search for potential matches before selecting a position and following the application prompts.
Stay involved after applying
Applicants should continue checking the platform for employer comments and interview invitations. Users can accept an interview, cancel it or request rescheduling. Successful candidates receive an email notification from the system.
As a practical preparation step, applicants should update their CV and check that their contact details are accurate. Clearly presented qualifications, experience and skills can help employers assess an application.
Information for existing employees
The official employee guidance states that employers must register their employees on the system. Where an employer has not done so, an employee can register independently as a jobseeker.
Employees can also use the platform to search and apply for jobs, respond to interview invitations and file workplace complaints electronically through Workforce Development.
Where to get help
Questions about registration or system functions can be emailed to LMSHelp@gov.vg.
