The British Virgin Islands recorded 14,977 new company incorporations during the first half of 2026, marking the territory’s strongest first-half performance since 2021.
According to figures from the BVI Financial Services Commission, growth was particularly notable in limited partnerships and private investment funds. Limited partnership registrations increased by 73% year over year, while private investment fund registrations rose by 93%.
The figures point to continued activity in the BVI’s international financial-services sector and growing use of the territory for investment and private-market structures.
The performance comes as the BVI continues efforts to strengthen its position as an international financial centre while expanding relationships with overseas markets.
